Bree Turner talks to BeautyInterviews.com about her early career roles, her upcoming movie "The Ugly Truth" with Katherine Heigl, and her beauty secrets.
When Bree was a baby, the only thing that would stop her from crying was the movie "Grease." That was only the beginning: Bree was a shy child, so her mom enrolled her in dance class. She danced all through her teens and 20s, and received a dance scholarship to UCLA. From there, she got an agent and started doing commercials, music videos, and finally television and movies.
In her new film "The Ugly Truth" opening July 24, she plays the best friend/co-worker of Katherine Heigl's character. "I’m the voice of reason for her," Bree says. "I push her when she needs to get out of her comfort zone. I’m there for her when she is complaining. It is a sparkly and fun romantic comedy that is actually honest and not manipulative."Bree was recently named one of the Girls of Maxim. Was it difficult posing for the photoshoot? "It was challenging at first," Bree says. "But then I loosened up and we actually had a really good time. Having an adorable 20 something woman photographer by the name of Kelly Stewart helped! I thought as a woman she knew which were the right poses for me."
Bree also has her favorite products that help her feel beautiful:
For her hair… she loves Kerastase Chroma Protect that gives her hair texture, and prevents her blonde hair from turning brassy.
Her favorite skincare products are from 3LAB… "They have this cream that changed my skin! It’s called WW Cream, it’s expensive but I justify my purchase because it lasts me a long time. "
She loves Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss… because it tastes like caramel and it stays on for long time.
The one beauty product always in her makeup bag is… Aquaphor Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy which she uses underneath her lipstick.
