Bree Turner dressed up to promote "The Ugly Truth" in H Magazine. Click here to view the article. Gorgeous!

H - You recently came out with the new movie The Ugly Truth, how did you like playing the role of Joy?
Bree - I basically went to set every day and had fun. My manta was to stay loose and spontaneous. It was a relaxing character to play!

H - How was your experience working on set with Katherine and Gerard?
Bree -  Katie is easy, positive, and has a nice, raunchy sense of humor. She's my kind of gal. Gerry is charming and lovable. You can't help but swoon over that guy.

H - If you had the chance to work with the screenwriters, is there anything you would have changed about your character, Joy?
Bree - I would have had her end up with at least one date!  Joy ends the film alone, eating a bowl of ice cream with her 6 cats.

H - Do you believe in the old saying: the opposites attract?
    Bree – Yes.

H - As a married woman, does this saying apply to you and your husband? Are you opposite from one another?
Bree – Well, is saying he's an orthopedic surgeon answer your question?

H - Ok, if you had the chance to take a 10 day vacation, where would you love to be?
Bree – The south of France. Preferably in 1967. Driving a convertible with big glasses and a silk scarf around my head.  And yes, I did just describe a scene from "Two for the Road."

    H - Are you a vegetarian?
Bree – No. Although I can see how one can be. .

H - Are you an “animal-person”, or have any pets of your own?
Bree - I do love animals. Although I did not grow up with any. I had a dog named Prince for 3 days. One the 4th day, he bit my neighbor's ear off and had to "go live with an old couple on a farm."

H - Outside of work, what are some of the things you love to do?
Bree – Watch movies (I should mix it up, I know). Read. Ride bikes. Go to the beach. Play gin rummy. Visit my family. Cook. Hang out like a bum all day with my husband.

H - How do you feel about children, do you have any of your own?
Bree - I can't wait to have children.

H - And what about politics? Do you believe they can change the world?
Bree – Politicians simply relay our voice. It's our responsibility to give he or she the words. Get out there and find the politicians who you feel support your beliefs. The system isn't perfect, but it's all we have.

H - If you could have the perfect script on your table tomorrow, what kind of film would it be? Drama, action,  comedy…?
Bree - A movie musical. This girl has got to dance!

H - Do you prefer Pepsi or Coke?
    Bree – Coke. No comparison.

H - Starbucks or Coffee Bean?
Bree – Starbucks. They have better soy milk.

H - When working in front of the camera, how would you describe the difference between acting for a movie and posing for a photo shoot?
Bree – There is honestly not that much of a difference. In this shoot in particular, I felt like I was a character . A different person than myself. What fun!

H - What is your favorite hobby?
    Bree – Stand up paddling.

H - What is your favorite song you have on your iPod?
Bree – This answer changes with my moods, but right now it's the Black Eyed Peas, "Boom Boom Pow!". You can't help but move your booty when you hear it.

H - We strongly believe that success is not coming from nowhere. We know for sure you need your passion, your skills and your mind to get your goals and to feel satisfied with your life. Well, Bree Turner is deserving everything that is happening in her professional life, and we know she deserves even more.
    Thank you Bree.
